About The Artist
Shannon Mc Kohnle
I am always grateful to be able to share my love of art with others. My mother was an artist, so I grew up learning from her and watching her work in her studio in the countryside of North Carolina. Over the years, I faded in and out of the art world, buying into the mythos that you can't do it for a living, and began my career in massage therapy. After my mother's passing, I came back to my hometown of Monroe NC, and began to paint again. In 2018 I opened my business, DreamSpree Studio, to pursue my life's loves of massage and art. I've been working with people to turn their memories into custom artwork ever since. And I absolutely love what I do.
